February Ficlet Challenge approaches
Jan. 1st, 2019 10:48 amWelcome to 2019! The February Ficlet Challenge 2019 will start on February 1st!
Here’s how the FFC works:
1) Create a list of pairings you are willing to write. (Ideally, pick 28 - one for each day of the month!)
2) Check the February Ficlet Challenge tumblr (https://februaryficletchallenge.tumblr.com/) every morning for today’s prompt, posted at 12:01 am West Coast time. The prompt will also be posted on the AO3 collection FAQ page.
3) Write a ficlet of at least 200 words within 24 hours of checking the prompt, using the prompt and the pairing from your list.
4) Post your ficlet to the February Ficlet Challenge 2019 collection on AO3, which will open on February 1st and close at the end of March.
If you want to make it more challenging, make the list of pairings ahead of time and use whichever pairing is next on your list for the given prompt.
I would be immensely grateful for any prompt ideas!
